Spirit Island
A series of illustrations commissioned by Greater Than Games. The task was to design two of the spirits - Hearth Vigil, and Towering Roots Of The Jungle, for a card game, Spirit Island. Afterwards, “Power” cards were designed and illustrated to be used in action in the game itself. The story is about an indigenous people, the Dahan, defending their island from invaders.

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter
The Great Lighthouse has safely guided ships to the city for centuries, building the city with wealth, knowledge, and strength. When ships begin to sink and disappear, the lighthouse keeper's daughter strives to find out why. (The answer may surprise you! Hint, it's mermaids.) The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter is an independent visual development project based on medieval Arab fantasy. I noticed that I rarely see my culture represented in media, much less in fantasy which can be very Eurocentric, and so I wanted to bring that to light.
